With SATs approaching in the spring of next year, it's great to give your child some extra support if you can. You may find some of the following links useful:

Maths and English Practise

IXL have separate pages of skills linked to individual Year group.  The Y6 page has links to practise both English and Maths skills.  Pages are then split into skills of which has a practise question for the children to think about.

BBC Education have produced a whole host of materials for KS2.  Follow the KS2 link and then select either Maths or English.   Each area usually has an information section for reading, plus an activity and then quiz which is marked online.  Some aspects require a subscription.

Maths
The children worked collaboratively to identify the errors in a completed arithmetic test, discussing the strategies they would need to use to correct answers. 
English 
Pupils explored the role of Women during World War II through the careful handling and examination of artefacts that Ms Garwood kindly brought in. She described how her aunt's role changed during the war: from a house wife and mother, to a significant role in the Women's Army. 
Computing
The children worked collaboratively to crack secret codes when learning about Alan Turing's pioneering work in computer science: breaking the German Enigma code during World War II.
